One Berkeley, situated in London’s Mayfair, is a mixed-use complex that proudly houses Europe’s inaugural 1 Hotel. This distinguished property comprises 181 guestrooms and 60,000 square feet of prime offices. Additionally, it includes an extra 20,000 square feet of premium retail space, all of which are fully occupied.
The original eight-storey building, dating back to the 1970s, underwent a comprehensive refurbishment overseen by renowned architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris and specialised hotel architect Dexter Moren Associates.
Summary of Our Responsibilities:
Polyteck, a construction and facilities management organisation, has secured a three-year Facilities Management (FM) contract for the iconic One Berkeley in London. Polyteck assumes a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of this prestigious property. Our responsibilities encompass a spectrum of crucial services, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, water treatment, and fire services for the common plant and systems. Polyteck, with a three-year commitment, dedicates itself to upholding the highest standards of service delivery. It leverages its expertise to contribute to the overall success and sustainability of the site.
Darren Wills, Polyteck’s senior contracts manager, expressed immense satisfaction in clinching the One Berkeley contract.
