The development proposal seeks to provide a sustainable residential development making use of a vacant former industrial estate site, improving the surrounding area for the local community. The overall site has been designed to ensure physical security and sustainability. Works include:

  • Demolition of existing building
  • Erection of 23 new sustainable dwellings with associated parking and refuse store and associated works
  • Constract Value: £7m
  • Pile foundation

A range of sustainable measures will be utilised during the construction phase of the development including:

  • 100% energy efficient lighting
  • Use of natural ventilation
  • Glazing design makes appropriate provision with regards to overheating
  • Solar gain measures
  • Water efficiency measures
  • Materials used will be a&b rated in the BRE green guide specification
