Construction and FM business Polyteck Group has been awarded a 24-month building repair contract by Islington Council in London.
Under the new framework, which is worth around £500,000, the company will carry out building-related repairs including electrical, groundworks, plumbing, metal works, and specialist damp works across the council’s housing stock.
The contract, which began last month, adds to several long-term maintenance contacts recently won by Polyteck in the housing and residential sector.
John Yiannakis Polycarpou, Polyteck’s managing director, said: “This is a great strategic win for the business. The nature of this type of contract requires fast responses and an increased level of customer service for the tenants, which we look forward to delivering.”
Polyteck provides a range of planned and reactive maintenance services to domestic property and commercial buildings in the local authority and social housing sectors, looking after more than 35,000 homes for registered providers and commercial properties owned by local authorities.
