Polyteck proudly joins the Richard House’s first-ever Football Tournament – an inclusive day of sports and games for a good cause. The event is scheduled for July 14th 2022, only three weeks after the Childer’s Hospice Week, dedicated to fundraising for children living in a hospice with life-threatening conditions. Eight Polyteck champs will dust off their work boots and put on their shin pads for a few hours of a casual 5-a-side football tournament.
The Polyteck team cares about pressing social challenges, especially when it comes to human health. The number of children living with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions in the UK has been steadily rising over the last two decades, which is a concerning statistic. Although our focus of work does not overlap with social causes of this character, we like to help as much as we can. Participating at the Richard House’s Cup will give us the tools to raise awareness and funds for a cause that matters to us – improving families’ chances of spending more time with their children.
