Make properties denser and ease London’s Housing Shortage is backed by many of London’s think tanks and charities. Indeed, Centre For London,  a politically independent think tank and charity, with a mission to find new solutions to the capital’s challenges, has given its backing to this. It states in a recent study that up to 20% of the capital’s housing targets can be met if large housing estates were made even more compact, thus creating up to 8,000 new homes annually. The Daily Telegraph have a very interesting article on this subject that can be read here.
Polyteck recently undertook and completed a project in Bounds Green, North London, which involved, making the property denser & easing London’s housing shortage. At Embassy Court, Polyteck entered into a JV with RCP Group and obtained planning to build 3 new homes to the rear of the property, as part of Haringey council’s initiative, aimed at the first time buyer market. This will maximise the housing output and establish a close working relationship with developers / house builders.
You will find further details on the project at Embassy Court as well as some other exciting projects within our company brochure.
