I am writing to thank you for your kind support of our marathon team, 'Team Morrison', who undertook the challenge to complete the Virgin London Marathon in support of our corporate charity partner, Shelter; the leading housing and homelessness charity in the UK. Shelter undertake a range of activities that work to prevent and alleviate the distress caused by homelessness and poor housing conditions and as part of our support, we have committed to raising a fantastic £50,000 over the course of the partnership.

After months of training and preparation 'Team Morrison' finally took to the streets of London on Sunday 17th April 2011 to take part in one of the world's greatest marathons. The five runners set off in the sunshine from Greenwich in great spirits, full of energy and enthusiasm for the 26.2miles which lay ahead and by 3pm all the runners had successfully and safely completed the course and were ready for a well earned rest.

Thanks to your kind contribution towards our efforts we have successfully raised £20,458 from London Marathon sponsorship towards our target of £50,000, meaning that our total fundraising to date now stands at £42,000! This would not have been possible without your support and we are extremely grateful that you decided to support us in our efforts to raise money for this great cause.

Strata manufacturing PJSC have had maintenance engineering team on site providing day to day maintenance and operational support activities for one year, the majority of the engineers and technicians are provided through support agreements between Strata and Bryan. In this time, they have proved themselves to be highly motivated and talented individuals, willing and able to learn new skills and techniques to improve their ability to support our manufacturing activities whilst also enhancing our performance capabilities.

During the past ten months of production, I have seen the change in attitude and performance of this team as they have strived to adopt new ideas in maintenance practices from completing paperwork for every task undertaken to provide a record of the activity and its outcome, learning to use new technologies as part of an ongoing predictive and condition based maintenance methodology and the acceptance of wider responsibilities where they had no previous experience.

Like most start up organizations, we have had a number of learning opportunities in our first year of life, however, the distance travelled has been immense and whilst we have a much larger distance to go, I am confident that the team of engineers and technicians provided through you will continue to grow with us. The success of Strata today is very much underpinned by the efforts of the maintenance professionals that we have on site.

Black Building Test Sat 26th & Sun 27th

Please pass on my thanks to all your guys for their efforts before, during and after the black building works that took place at 25 Copthall Avenue on Fri 25th Sat 26th & Sun 27th. These works, as you know, are very crucial to the general running, life safety, disaster recovery and business continuity of the building. Your Sub- Contractors, in particular, Power Testing I find to be particularly professional in the way they carried out their works. The whole operation, although starting about 1 hour late caused by one of the tenants IT not being ready for the shutdown, and the way all Sub contractors acquitted themselves actually meant that the deadline was still met for power up, the knock on effect of this is that the tenants can re-energise their systems without delay.
It really was very gratifying to see. Tenants, Polyteck, Acorn, EDF, Power Testing, The Generator Company, Powertechnics & Aggreko working together so well. Especially this year having the new tenant Lebara who had 90 persons in their call centre working throughout the power down, the organisation of their generation meant that we could still carry out our testing and maintenance of the back-up system within 25 Copthall Ave and still have tenant Lebara business continuity uninterrupted.
Again Thanks again for your assistance in this.

Whilst in the electrical room he found some water had got in there so rang me. He then went looking for where it had come from (whilst I was directing him round the building).
We found the problem to be a leaking wc in one of the flats that was then dealt with by Minc's plumber.

 I write into your office today with some feedback regarding one of your lighting engineers who attends Bedford House each Monday morning to carry out a fire alarm test and our lighting maintenance. I have found Hassan to always be punctual never being late once, he is always very polite and extremely helpful. Hassan is very well organized and has any replacement parts needed for lighting units within a week, even going as far to assist me making space available to store replacement parts here on site. I have also noticed that Hassan is very up to date with current lighting technology and he also studies the future of lighting 'LED's'. I would like to add that I find Hassan to be a real benefit to your company he is always thinking of Polyteck's company profile and how it can be made  t o reflect better in the eye's of us the customers. So I wish him every success in the future and hope that Polyteck as a company can be adaptive so as to ensure the future of one of your companies brightest employees.
