As a Building Services company, we understand that our everyday business can be damaging for the environment.
We combat this by using Sustainable Timber from FSC Certififed companies, only using recycled paper from renewable sources and using our Vehicle Management System to find our engineers the shortest route possible, ensuring quick response times and cutting CO2 emissions.

In 2007 we received the Investors in People accreditation.

By implementing bi annual appraisals we ensure that our staff are constantly improving their skills.

In 2008 we obtained the Certificate of Registration under the Control of Pollution (Amendment) Act 1989.

We have been providing building maintenance to charity organisation Peace One Day on a cost basis, to allow them to reinvest money where it
is most needed.

In 2009 we became an ISO14001 UKAS approved company.

At Polyteck Building Services we are dedicated to supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, by making monthly donations and raising awareness through events.

Polyteck are an official patron of Peace One Day,

an organisation trying to institutionalise the 21st September as peace day, where there will be a complete ceasefire. Presently Costas Polycarpou ( MD of Polyteck) sits on the patrons board with Simon Woodruff ( ex Dragons Den entrepreneur and founder of Yo Sushi), Steve Bolton (founder of PPP the fastest growing franchise in the UK), Jeremy Giley ( founder of Peace One Day) and many more .

The peace one day vision for our website is that it becomes a key "peace portal", inspiring and holding content from around the world, related to peace, non-violence and sustainability. The new site, in the six official languages of the United Nations, is now live and has been built to accommodate an entirely new scale of involvement on Peace Day, as they reach out to global partners from all sectors of society. Polyteck have recently refurbished the offices in Richmond of peace one day, this was completed in 7 weeks at cost to ensure it came under the clients budget
